Estefi Brussa

Visual artist
She studied Fine Arts at the National University of Córdoba and Photography at the Lino E. Spilimbergo School of Applied Arts. Since 2011 she has taken part in various spaces of training, reflection, and research around the visual arts in Argentina, Chile, Spain, and France. She is currently completing a Specialization in Contemporary Art at the National University of Córdoba and takes part in the Annual Clinic under the mentorship of Vivian Galban in Buenos Aires.
For four years she was part of the experimental photography workshop Manifiesto Alegría in Córdoba, Argentina. In 2017 she attended Art Barcelona Photo. In 2018 and 2019 she took part in FIFV —the Valparaíso International Photography Festival, Chile—, where she deepened her knowledge of antique photographic processes on various supports under the coordination of French photographer Arno Brignon, and carried out a collective intervention at the Museo Parque Cultural de Valparaíso. In 2020 she continued her training with visual artist Julieta Marasas, exploring the combination of photography and printmaking techniques such as screen printing.
Since 2022 she has been invited by the Barcelona Experimental Photo Festival to teach workshops on alternative Polaroid processes. In 2024, together with professor and essayist Llorenç Raich Muñoz and visual artist Lorena Grabinski, she gave a workshop and a talk on poetry and photography. Since then she has been part of Ágora, the first international school of experimental artists. Her work was published in PlaPF (Colombia), a photographic-thought platform that brought together Latin American artists under the theme “Photography and Spirituality”.
In 2023 she took part in Polacon, in New York, founded by the Instant Film Society, an international instant-photography gathering that brings together photographers from around the world devoted to working with Polaroid. That same year she was a guest artist at Fotorama Fest, in Santiago, Chile, where she taught workshops on experimental Polaroid. As part of La Fotósfera photography market in Córdoba, she was invited to exhibit her work at La Metro, a show curated by Natalia Mónaco. Her work was published in the Italian magazine Neoque Magazine.
In 2024 she took part in the LaBabuch residency in France, focused on narrative, editing, and layout of photobooks, coordinated by Israel Ariño, Chiara Capodici, Juanjo Justicia, and Clara Gassull.
The book Poéticas Dispersas II. Correspondencias (Ed. Casimiro) was published in Spain, a compilation of exchanged correspondence between Llorenç Raich Muñoz and various contemporary artists, among them Estefi Brussa.
Together with the Centro Cultural España Córdoba and the Museo Palacio Dionisi, she coordinated an activity around the photobook alongside the Spanish publisher Muga and the magazine Lur.
She was invited by curator Francisco Medail to take part in the exhibition En el principio fue la magia (In the Beginning Was Magic), held at the former CCK —now Palacio Libertad— and on view until May 2025.
She has exhibited her work individually and collectively in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Italy, and Spain. Her work is part of the permanent collection of the Museo de Fotografía Palacio Dionisi.
